Suraksha Rajpal

Hi! My name is Suraksha Rajpal and I am a Pakistan based graduate student pursuing a master’s in Counseling. I am studying towards a dual licensure for Mental Health and Addictions Counseling and joined UNC Charlotte in 2021. I have held Research Assistant position in the Special Education and Child Development Department through 2021 -2022.

I have also been a recipient of the Jim Patterson Scholarship by the CATO College and Governor’s Institute Scholarship to work towards addictions in the state of North Carolina.

Belonging from a multi-cultural and diverse city of Karachi, I am enthusiastic about guiding and growing with other international students through their journey at UNC Charlotte. I strive to provide an opportunity for the local and international students to come together and build a strong community by learning and exploring through their graduate life together.
