This day is celebrated in Kuwait with vigor and enthusiasm. People decorate streets and buildings with patriotic emblems such as the colors of the national flag and flag design. Each color symbolizes a part of Kuwait’s national history: Green represents fertility, white depicts peace, red symbolizes armed struggle during the quest for independence, black stands for the defeat of the country’s enemies.
