Bhuwan Abbot

Bhuwan (she/her) is a Doctoral Writing Fellow (DWF) at the Graduate and Postdoctoral Writing Center. As a DWF, she will conduct sessions and provide feedback on all forms of writing, and help navigate all stages of graduate and postdoctoral academic writing. She cares about bringing our full identities into writing and believes that we are not alone in facing hurdles like blocks, perfectionism, procrastination, impostor syndrome.

Bhuwan is an international student from Delhi, India and doing her PhD in the Carter Lab, working with bacterial and fungal symbiotic relationships. She did her Bachelors in Biotechnology from Shiv Nadar University, India where she first found herself immersed in the world of research, writing, and science communication.
