Nicholas Gathings
Nicholas Gathings He/Him/His
Nicholas Gathings is a 2nd year doctoral student in the Curriculum and Instruction program in the Cato College of Education. In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys traveling with his wife, playing guitar at church in the worship band, and cheering on his son’s high school soccer team. During his time as a graduate student, one thing that Nicholas has learned is that graduate life can be challenging, but the reward of it is that sense of accomplishment to say that “you did it!”. Nicholas has the following advice for graduate students: “Do not feel as though you are on this journey alone. There are many resources available to you to navigate your journey as a graduate student such as the CGLL, the wonderful faculty/staff at Charlotte, and GLFs who have gone through/are still going through this journey with you!”
Be sure to say hi next time you see Nicholas!
