Susan Clifford, Lead Director & Sr. Human Resources Business Partner
Susan Clifford is Lead Director, Human Resources Business Partner serving as a trusted advisor and providing thought leadership to executives at Equitable, including the executive leaders in the commercial business lines for Retirement, Wealth Management and Protection Solutions insurance. Susan has decades of HR and strategic change management experience. Prior to joining Equitable in September 2019, she most recently spent over 7 years at Wells Fargo as Sr. HRBP for Wealth & Investment Management lines of business, as well a holding similar positions in Global Wealth & Investment Management for a decade at Bank of America. Additionally, Susan has experience in executive search, legal and corporate real estate industries.
Michelle Schultz, Lead Director, Innovation & Design Office
Michelle Schultz is a Lead Director, in the Equitable Innovation & Design Office. She is a trusted coach and facilitator for executives and leaders, helping them to build, expand and reinforce new ways of working at Equitable. With a focus on mindset and behavior change, she enables teams to implement agile practices in the organization in order to create value for our customers. Michelle has held various positions in Human Resources for over 30 years at MONY Financial Services and Equitable. Most recently, she has supported teams in Finance, the Chief Operating Office and Retirement, Wealth Management and Protection as a Sr. HR Business Partner.
Mark Berkowsky, Senior Director of Recruiting & On-boarding
Mark Berkowsky is the Senior Director of Recruiting and On-Boarding for Equitable and has been in the talent acquisition space for over 20 years. He has led recruiting functions at organizations including Prudential Financial, The New York Public Library and Hewitt Associates. Mark is passionate about introducing technology into the recruiting process to improve the experience for both candidates and hiring managers. He led the introduction of Artificial Intelligence into the candidate selection process to mitigate unconscious bias and to ensure that every candidate has a chance to interact with Equitable and put their best foot forward.
