College of Health and Human Services

Hi everyone and welcome, we are so happy you’ve chosen UNC Charlotte as your home!

My name is Claire and I am a second-year Master of Health Administration student. Originally from New Jersey, I completed my undergraduate degree in 2019 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I was also a member of the Division 1 Women’s Soccer team and had the amazing opportunity to win our conference my senior year and go to the NCAA Tournament. After graduation I accepted a position with Oak Street Health, a value-based healthcare organization, where I presently work while I go to school. Within my organization I am also the co-founder of the People Resource Group FM^2 (Female Minorities in Medicine) that exists to support female racial minorities in the healthcare field and promote opportunities for education, networking, leadership and mentorship. In addition to being a Graduate Life Fellow I also serve as the 2022-2023 Charlotte Healthcare Executive Student Organization (CHESO) President. I am the immediate past CHESO Secretary and am also involved with several amazing organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), and Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). This summer I completed an administrative internship with Providence Health in Los Angeles, CA through the American Hospital Association (AHA) Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE). I am passionate about diversity and inclusion, health equity, and accessibility.

In my free time I enjoy working out, playing soccer, reading books, and trying new restaurants. I also have a rescue pitbull named Nala who loves taking naps and going to the park. If you have any questions or would like a friendly face to connect with, please reach out! We look forward to seeing you at events and helping you through your journey.
