Hamideh has a master’s degree in Science in Architecture. She is currently a third-year Ph.D. student in the Infrastructure and Environmental Systems (INES) program. She is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi since 2021 and has received the Love of Learning award from PKP (2021). She received the best Master’s Architecture Research Award from the School of Architecture (SoA) at UNC Charlotte (2022). Hamideh is a research assistant, working with Dr. Kyoung-Hee Kim at the IDR lab in the School of Art and Architecture. She has been involved in research studies on different areas including user performance enhancement, biofuel and bio-mass energies, thermal comfort, and natural ventilation. Currently, her research is focused on solar PV (photovoltaic) integrated facades. Outside of work, Hamideh enjoys hiking, reading books, and playing music.
