Laura coordinates, promotes, and supports a broad range of graduate-student-focused events, initiatives, and processes in the Center for Graduate Life & Learning. These include workshops, competitions, retreats, social events, professional development series, and required training modules. She co-facilitates the thesis and dissertation submission process and develops and disseminates submission and formatting guidance and training to graduate students and faculty. She manages the onboarding process and paperwork for postdoctoral scholars and coordinates CGLL outreach to regional employers through the Accelerate to Industry initiative. Laura promotes marketing actions for the CGLL’s activities and manages the department’s website.

Laura has a master’s degree in Political Science from University of Milano and a master’s degree in Teaching Italian as a Second Language from ICOTEA Milano. She is also a professional Journalist registered in the Professional Order of Journalists (Milano).

Her professional experience includes HR and human development (automotive sector), professional journalism (tourism sector) and teaching Italian language (school and university level).
