Sharmeen Hatimbhai

Sharmeen comes from a unique cultural background in India and Bahrain and is passionate about guiding and developing fellow international students at UNC Charlotte. By bringing together domestic and international students to learn and explore graduate life together, Sharmeen hopes to build a strong sense of community. She develops and manages programs specifically for graduate students and works on a broad range of projects as the Global Niner Graduate Assistant.

Prior to joining the CGLL, Sharmeen worked in HR, IT, and social media management, where she developed expertise in different technologies, the intricacies of HR software and systems, and methods to improve engagement and communication.

Sharmeen is presently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems – Information Technology from the University of Bahrain.
