Understanding IRBs: How to be an Ethical Researcher

Whether you’re a biologist studying the effects of a medicine in animals, or a social scientist sending out a survey, you will need Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval before starting your research. In this workshop, you will hear from members of UNC Charlotte’s IRB to learn about the process so that you know what to expect and plan for as an ethical researcher.
