Child Care Resources, Inc. offers information to help locate local care facilities in Charlotte. Child Care Resources Inc. is a private, non-profit childcare resource and referral agency that works with families and communities.

Atkins Library Family Friendly Rooms – Atkins Rooms 206 and 209 are places where caregivers can bring their children to play and learn while they study. The rooms are a campus resource that enhances adult students’ ability to excel in their academic programs while caring for children and dependents age 16 and under. For your first visit, register in advance. After your first visit, you can reserve the space immediately at groupstudy.uncc.edu
Lactation Support – Two lactation rooms where you can bring your child or use the Medela Symphony Breastpump provided by the University. Located in Atkins Library Room G38 and Room 305 in the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). At Center City Building, Room 420 (4th floor) is currently designated as a wellness room, with priority given to nursing mothers.
