Summer 2026 Virtual Orientation

Date & Time: Thursday, May 14, 2026 @ 4:00pm – 6:00pm (EST)
Location: Zoom
Event Description: After a welcome message from the Graduate School Dean, you’ll hear all about services offered by the Thomas L. Reynolds Center for Graduate Life and Learning and other campus support. Then, from 5:00-6:00, you can hop between convenient breakout sessions to get all your questions answered.

Fall 2026 New Doctoral Student Orientation

Date & Time: Friday, August 14, 2026 @ 9:00am – 12pm (EST)
Location: Harris Alumni Center (map)
Event Description: Enjoy an informative morning with your fellow doctoral students and Graduate School staff Get the lay of the land, learn about what to expect in the coming weeks and months, and start making friends! Breakfast will be provided, followed by a welcome from the Graduate School Dean, plus quick presentations on writing support, academic integrity, navigating grad school challenges, library resources, and more.

Fall 2026 New Grad Student Welcome Reception

Date & Time: Saturday, August 15, 2026 @ 11am – 1pm (EST)
Location: Hauser Alumni Pavillion (map)
Event Description: The perfect social introduction for ALL new graduate students! Our Welcome Reception provides an opportunity to explore the wealth of resources around campus! Meet fellow grad students, grad school staff, and other campus staff that are here to support you. Expect food, drinks, free giveaways, and music!
