Fall 2025 Future Faculty Teaching Fellowship

This fellowship is designed to help doctoral students prepare their applications for tenure track or other permanent college teaching positions. The selected Future Faculty Fellows will participate in an intensive, one-week course (August 11 – 15), led by Faculty Associate for Graduate Teaching Dr. Judith Krauss, which covers key aspects of university-level teaching, including:
- Teaching philosophies
- Creating a sample syllabus
- Teaching demonstrations at interviews
- Research statements
- The academic job search
- Current issues in academia
In addition, each Fellow will conduct a sample teaching demonstration on a topic of their choosing and receive collaborative feedback. Each fellow will receive follow up editing of their materials through September and October. Anyone who wishes an observation of their classroom teaching (if they are teaching a class) can request one for November. A $250 stipend will also be awarded.
Applications for the 2025 class are closed – thank you to ALL applicants!
